Key Focus:
The key focus of the Direct Marketing Executive, is to be responsible for day to day direct marketing, and some print activities for the marketing department. Along with supporting the Marketing Manager in delivering agreed activities.
This role will report to:

Key duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and implementing effective direct response campaigns including direct mail and email and supporting print production where necessary. This will include:
- Working to a quarterly marketing and monthly campaign plan
- Briefing and working with creative and print agencies for production of marketing collateral
- Writing the creative brief, managing production and approval process
- Writing and adapting basic copy and assets for marketing collateral
- Understanding the brand, product and customer profiles to which they are aimed
- Working with Sales and Marketing Data Analyst to finalise mail house briefing
- Working with Sales and Marketing Analyst to produce campaign analysis of marketing campaigns and to drive further campaigns
- managing budget throughout the campaign and producing an accurate summary of total spend at the end of a marketing campaign
- Assisting ATL Executive with print duties and keeping literature catalogue up to date – tracking version control and keeping a track of content relevance
And any other duties that might reasonably be required of you.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing would be an advantage as would CIM qualification
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Copywriting and design skills in order to produce marketing materials for both print and email campaigns. An eye for detail is essential
- Knowledge of the print process and basic HTML would be advantageous
- Strong project management/organisational skills. A ‘can-do’ attitude – positive, determined and adaptable
- Experience of working with an Email Service Provider (ESP) platform to build and send effective email marketing desirable
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Commercial awareness and business acumen
- Analytical skills to evaluate marketing campaigns
- A flexible approach to work and the ability to work well under pressure
- Teamwork and the ability to foster good working relationships
